At Shade Tree Kennels we have done everything possible to produce quality puppies and deliver that puppy to you in a healthy condition for you to enjoy for years to come.

We will guarantee the puppy’s hips and elbows to be OFA certifiable at two years of age. Xrays must be taken by a Board certified veterinarian prior to 30 months of age.

We will guarantee the puppy’s eyes to be certifiable and free and clear from any hereditary eye defects. Diagnosis must be made by a Board certified veterinary opthamologist before 30 months of age.

Conditions For Guarantee Coverage:

• The dog must not have sired or whelped a litter of puppies.
• The dog must show no evidence or symptoms of abuse, neglect, improper nutrition or injury.
• The guarantee must be in the original owner’s name and is non-transferable to new owners if the dog is sold.
• The dog must be properly identified as a Shade Tree Kennel dog by microchip identification.

Provisions:

• OFA shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia. Hips must be rejected by OFA.
• CERF shall be the sole judge of hereditary eye defects. Eyes must be rejected by CERF.

A Shade Tree Kennel buyer covered by this guarantee who has a dog that proves to have retinal defect or hip dysplasia and who has followed the stated guidelines will be given a replacement puppy of comparable breeding if available or may be refunded their purchase price.
